Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Day for Kids is a national initiative to raise awareness for critical issues facing our youth. With more than a decade of tradition, Day for Kids invites adults to act like kids again by participating in field day events – relay races, dodge ball, tug of war and lots of other activities you loved as a kid – while advocating for America's young people by supporting the life-changing work taking place in Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide.
Day for Kids Dallas-Fort Worth is a fun filled day for everyone. Teams of 10 - five adults and five kids from local Boys & Girls Clubs - will complete in a series of 'childhood activity obstacles' for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Registration is only done online and the best part is that it's FREE! The team captain will submit all of your team's information at http://dayforkidsdallas-fortworth.eventbrite.com/. A team can be any mix of males/females just as long as each team member is over 18 years old and must consist of 5 teammates (including the captain). The team captain is the main point of contact for event coordinators and the team.
Yes, we are in need of 50 volunteers to help with set-up, check-in, activity leads, scorekeepers and timekeepers, etc. If you are interested in volunteering, sign up online at http://dayforkidsdallas-fortworth.eventbrite.com/ and select your preferred shift.
